Here is an introductory speech script for a junior Faculty to deliver at the Weekly Clinical Meeting on “Basic Concepts of Clinical Dentistry” organized by the Dental Unit of Community Based Medical College Bangladesh (CBMCB):
Assalamu Alaikum and a very good morning to everyone.
Honourable Principal, Vice Principal and Dirctor Sir, Teachers, colleagues and interns.
It is indeed a great pleasure and privilege for me to welcome you all to today’s Weekly Clinical Meeting, organized by the Dental Unit of Community Based Medical College Bangladesh.
Today, we gather here to explore and enrich our understanding of a subject that serves as the bedrock of dental practice – “Basic Concepts of Clinical Dentistry.”
Chairperson of today’s session is Dr. Khaleed Muhammad Islam and Speaker is Dr. Farzana Anar.
As healthcare providers, we all understand that sound clinical knowledge is essential – not just for diagnosis and treatment, but for gaining the trust and confidence of our patients. The fundamentals of clinical dentistry – including patient examination, diagnostic protocols, infection control, and treatment planning – form the backbone of safe and effective dental care.
To guide us through this important topic, we are honoured to have with us Dr. Farzana Anar, a promising and dedicated member of our dental faculty, who will be sharing her insights and experiences in this area.
We are also deeply privileged to have Dr. Khaleed Muhammad Islam with us today as the Chairperson of this session. His leadership and guidance have always inspired us to uphold academic excellence.
